Remo Recover Review – Best Photo Recovery Software

best-photo-recovery-software

Even these days with so many photo recovery software, we often forget to back up our data. There are also people like me who didn’t think that was necessary until they permanently lost some very important files on their computers.

remo recover reviewAs a professional photographer, I have a computer full of folders with countless images that I tend to keep neat and easy to find. Accordingly, from time to time I delete images that I believe I will no longer need, but recently in one of those actions I lost 300 images which took me a week to shoot and edit. I hoped I’ll find them in the recycle bin, but it turned out that I completely destroyed them.

I did so much research trying to recover them somehow, but it was impossible without backup. It was clear that there is no solution other than shooting again which would take me another week and at least $200, while I only had three days to turn them over to my boss. So I decided to give up and confess all on Monday.

I hope this Remo Recovery review will help you to save your photos and avoid bad situations.

What is Photo Recovery Software and How it Can Help You?

Remo Recovery is software that solves all data recovery problems for a Windows user. It helps you regain all your lost or deleted files in just a few clicks. It is designed to recover data from simple data loss situations like file deletion to complex data-loss situations like accidental re-installation of Windows, deleted files / partition from RAID drives, re-formatted partitions or re-partitioned hard drives and it is one of the most popular Data Recovery tool available in the market because it provides the fastest recovery of data.

How to Recover Lost Photos Step by Step

This software is designed in the way that even if you are not so techy person, you will be able to understand and use it. Remo Recovery Software has a bunch of data recovery apps, covering all types of files. You can recover your documents, photos, videos and audio files or you can narrow down your search to more specific file extensions or several regions of the disc or card.

Before you download the Demo version check out the system requirements:

  • Intel or AMD class processor with minimum 1.2 Ghz or higher
  • RAM – 512 MB (1 GB recommended).
  • Free disk space – Minimum of 50 MB (100 MB recommended) for software installation
  • A graphics adapter card with at least 64 MB of memory.
  • One of the following operating system:
  • Windows 10 (32 bit or 64 bit)
  • Windows 8 (32 bit or 64 bit)
  • Windows 7 (32 bit or 64 bit)
  • Windows Vista (32 bit or 64 bit)
  • Windows XP (32 bit or 64 bit)
  • Windows Sever 2003 (32 bit or 64 bit)
  • Windows Server 2008 (32 bit or 64 bit)

Step 1

Depending on what type of file you are missing, you can easily start the data recovery process by clicking on one of the three sections on the right (Recover Files, Recover Drives, Recover Photos (Photo/Video/Audio)).

In order to show you how it works I’m going to recover some photos, but the process is basically the same for any other file.

Step 2

photo-recovery-step-2

This is how the next step looks like. Depending on what happened with your files you can choose to quickly recover deleted Photo, Video & Audio files or to Perform an advanced recovery of lost Photo, Video & Audio files.

Step 3

photo-recovery-step-3

I have chosen the Quick one, just to show you how it works. Advanced recovery has all the same steps, but it takes a lot longer to proceed.

Step 4

photo-recovery-step-4

You can perform an additional scan for specific file types based on their extensions or you can choose to skip that step and recover only deleted files from the drive.

Step 5

photo-recovery-step-5

The software works really fast. It took only 3.5 minutes to, recover only deleted photos from the drive, but depending on the amount and size of files you need to recover it might take more or less time.

There is no indication, but the next step (step 6) is saving your files (in order to recover them). The software creates a new folder with all the files you recovered and you basically save it just as you save anything on your computer.

What are the advantages of using the Remo Recovery?

  • With Remo Recover, you can easily recover your lost photos. For each type of file, Remo Recover comes with a separate edition.
  • It is fast, very efficient, secure and reliable. While it recovers, it doesn’t change a thing about your data. Besides, it is the easiest way to recovery.
  • It works on any operating system
  • You can preview your data before recovering
  • Also, if you want to recover files from some other storage devices you can just connect that device to your computer and perform the recovery.

Once you download your Remo Recover you will need to register in order to actually recover something. You can do that easily by clicking on the “Register” option. Activation wizard will open after that and you will be able to enter “License Key” in the text box and click on “Activate” button.

Remo Recover Basic Edition Review

After the activation, you will have the Remo Recover Basic Edition. With this edition, you will be able to find or recover all type of file that you have deleted or lost. It is great for solving simple recovery glitches like the recovery of all type of files which are deleted or lost.

What does that mean? Basically, it can recover anything you have deleted (even those deleted using the “Shift+Del”) and then “permanently” emptied your recycle bin or if your hard drive has crashed. It works quickly and it recovers your files in just a couple of minutes.

However, this first edition might be somewhat confusing to the brand new users, especially when it comes to the advanced features. It might take you some time, but once you learn to use all of its features to their full potential, the Remo Recover will become your best friend.

Remo recover Media Edition Review

You can upgrade from Basic to Media Edition any time you want by just clicking on the “Upgrade” option. Activation wizard will open and you will see that you have three options to activate your Media Edition: Buy Now, Enter the License Key (if you have purchased a stand alone product) and RemoONE Login (if you have purchased a RemoOne Cloud Subscription).

Remo Recover Media Edition basically does the same thing as Basic Edition but with the addition of enhanced support to recover Media (which are photos, videos, and music) and all types of files including RAW photos taken with a digital camera.

With three options available: Recover Files, Recover Photos, Recover Drive, you will be able to recover any data you have lost. All three of them provide you with the fastest recovery of your data.

Remo Recover Pro Edition Review

Remo Recover Pro Edition does all that Media Edition does but with the addition of increased support for recovering lost data from accidentally formatted partitions, lost/missing partitions or when a partition is corrupt or deleted. It recovers aforementioned file types, as well as undeleting files from HFS+ and HFSX Journaled volumes.

You can upgrade to Pro from Media at any time, the same way you upgrade from Basic to Media Edition.

Conclusion

This photo recovery software saves my time, money and probably my job, so I have nothing but the best to say about it.

It is obviously really fast and easy to use and it actually recovers your files.

However, I wouldn’t be me if I said that this software is flawless. It has a small, fixed size window, and that is the only thing I don’t like about it. Therefore, you can draw a conclusion about the Remo Recover for yourself.
